To do we would like to hire an Experienced Recruitment Consultant for our start up team to grow Osborne 1st UK Office.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Recruitment, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in Recruitment consultancy delivering Permanent, Contract or Temporary solutions.
  • Proven success in achieving recruitment targets and KPIs.
  • Proficient with ATS, sourcing methodologies, up to date with Recruitment practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Innovative and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and our offices when required.

As a Centre Manager for their After School Services you will provide leadership and management to a team of educators and staff in relation to the operation of their services.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the health and safety for all the children in the centre

  • Physical environment – prioritise the service environment.  Ensuring it is inclusive, promotes competence and supports exploration and play-based learning

  • People leadership – responsible for the management of the team.  Ensuring that educators and staff are collaborative, respectful and ethical

  • Managing the relationships between the children.  Each child is supported to build and maintain sensitive and responsive relationships

  • Have collaborative partnerships to enhance children’s inclusion, learning and wellbeing

  • Comply with, all service policies and procedures in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations

Requirements:

  • Relevant diploma or degree in education or school care

  • Eligible for a working holiday visa initially, with a further eligibility to continue to a full sponsorship visa

  • Min of 2 years’ experience working in a similar position

  • Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff.

  • Previous experience in successfully managing a budget

Senior Mechanic 

Reporting to the Head of Plant and Machinery Maintenance, our client is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional individual to join their expanding team, which is committed to consistently delivering service excellence. You will be required to use your initiative and judgment daily. The role will include preventative maintenance, servicing and repair to an extensive fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. This role will require both onsite and offsite maintenance and will involve leading a team of mechanics and logistical personnel that will grow over time.

  • Job Type: Full Time Permanent 
  • Salary: DOE 
  • Location: Surrey (UK) 

Key Deliverables:

  • Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel, electric- and gasoline-powered automobiles, mowers, tractors, rollers and other mechanical equipment used in utility work
  • Instructs and/or trains golf course maintenance workers regarding preventive maintenance, and the proper cleaning of and safe operation of equipment
  • Keeps records for equipment and parts inventory purchases and completed works
  • Completes regular servicing of all equipment and sharpening of mowing equipment
  • Complies with all legislation and regulations including provisions contained in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974

Role Specific Skills:

  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to produce a high standard of work
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic and hydraulic system

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Team player: Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Leadership: Ability to delegate, inspire and communicate effectively
  • Communication: Adept at communicating with colleagues and clients
  • Punctual & Reliable: Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • Problem Solving: Has the critical thinking skills to analyse problems thoroughly and accurately; takes a structured approach to identifying appropriate solutions

Experience Required:

  • Qualified Mechanic
  • Electro-hydraulic experience is an advantage
  • Proficient use of operating reel and bed knife grinders
  • Previous experience in a similar role dealing with golf course equipment, agricultural equipment or plant
  • Hold a full driving license
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and use of IT systems
  • Desirable but not essential:
  • Practical experience in greenkeeping and/or working with golf course equipment
