General Objectives:

  • Manage the display and presentation of new and used vehicles.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and appearance of the forecourt and showrooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect new vehicles upon delivery from manufacturers.
  • Assess used vehicles following trade-ins.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles displayed in showrooms and on the forecourt.
  • Approve the cleanliness of vehicles after valet services.
  • Wash and refresh vehicles on display as needed.
  • Capture high-quality photographs and videos of vehicles for online listings.
  • Prepare vehicles for handover to customers.
  • Perform general duties around the forecourt as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Full, valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch.
  • Receive and check incoming deliveries.
  • Operate forklifts (counterbalance and/or reach).
  • Assist in managing warehouse inventory and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure safe working practices.
  • Optional (not required): Candidates with a valid Category C driver's licence may assist with deliveries, if interested.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A valid Forklift Licence is required – ideally both counterbalance and reach. Candidates who hold only one of these may be offered training for the other. However, possessing both licences is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment is required.
  • Good attention to detail and reliability in handling stock.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Experience working with battery or technical equipment (a plus but not required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and effectively
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise in the control systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing plant performance.
  • Collaborate with the plant operators, maintenance team, and supervisors to ensure effective communication and coordination during routine operations, maintenance, and plant shutdowns.
  • Monitor process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and levels, and take appropriate actions to maintain them within specified limits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of operational data, equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or abnormalities.

 
Qualifications:

  • Leaving certificate or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in industrial automation or control systems is preferred.
  • Diploma/degree in electrical or mechanical engineering an advantage
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills to identify and resolve control system issues promptly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work a three shift work cycle with 24/5 working week
