Ensure productivity, crop yield, and efficiency targets are met according to company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Forecast production on a daily and weekly basis.
Conduct daily farm walks, quality spot-checks, and report quality issues to the production team.
Maintain farm records in compliance with food safety standards.
Utilize computer systems including Fancom (climate control for growing) and iGrow (production app).
Other Tasks:
Enforce company rules regarding food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and disease control among staff.
Ensure smooth site logistics and adherence to strict timelines.
Liaise with all departments of the company as necessary (Operations, Technical, Packhouse, Finance, HR, NPD etc.).

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Biochemist you will work as part of a team carrying out daily duties according to the company’s cGMP and Quality Systems, in order to meet the agreed master production schedule. Requirements
A degree in life science (preferable) with extensive lab experience.
Preferably at least one (1) years’ industrial experience in the production/quality control of in vitro diagnostic or similar products.
Understanding of production operations, quality assurance/control and cGMP/GLP requirements.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to show a high level of care and attention to all aspects of the role and show a desire to achieve excellence through own initiative.
