Are you an organised and reliable individual who enjoys working in a hands-on environment? We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative/Administrator to join our clients team and play a vital role in keeping their warehouse operations running smoothly.
In this dual role, you’ll be responsible for supporting both the day-to-day warehouse activities and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations

  • Assist with daily warehouse duties including picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Operate forklifts and handle stock movement safely and efficiently (training provided if required).
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company policies.
  • Uphold product quality and hygiene standards at all times.

Administrative Support:

  • Record and reconcile all incoming and outgoing goods accurately.
  • Coordinate with couriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
  • Support the stock control process by maintaining up-to-date inventory and sales records.
  • Provide administrative cover during periods of leave, ensuring smooth operations across the team.
  • Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident with basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, ERP systems an advantage).
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

In Osborne, we are currently hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our very well-established client. This role will be based in either Sligo or Mullingar based on candidate preference and is FULLY ONSITE.
 The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years’ experience and will have excellent experience with taking measurements directly from screens.
 
Package:

  • Salary – €70,000+ DOE and bonus structure

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
  • Monitor project costs and manage cash flow, ensuring projects are completed within budget
  • Advise on contractual matters, including procurement, risk management, and change control
  • Review and analyse project performance, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, providing guidance and development opportunities
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and reporting

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in a similar is ESSENTIAL
  • Integrity & Client Confidentiality is essential
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation preferred but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and commercial management
  • Proven experience with a range of sectors including bringing projects to a successful conclusion
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and build client relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to take control and manage complex projects
  • Good knowledge of current forms of Building Contracts including Public Contracts
  • Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g. Cubit, Excel)

Warehouse and Inventory Operative

Here at Osborne, we are hiring an experienced Warehouse and Inventory Operative on behalf of our client; Ireland’s largest supplier of gases and gas mixtures located in Leixlip, Kildare.
The ideal candidate will have strong general operative experience, basic computer skills and will be fully flexible. Candidates MUST HAVE LONGEVITY.
 
Package:

  • Salary: €28,972 PLUS shift allowances – day shift of 16% and night shift of 33%
  • Yearly bonus between 5-8% based on performance
  • 10% pension contribution
  • Free parking onsite

Shift Pattern:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 6:45am – 6:45pm for day shift
  • 6:45pm – 6:45am night shift
  • Working days from Sunday to Tuesday 1st week and Sunday to Wednesday 2nd week
  • 4 weeks of days and 4 weeks of nights

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that agreed minimum/maximum inventory levels are always in place on the customer’s site
  • Monitoring the usage of the factory to ensure an uninterrupted supply of product to the customer
  • Advise the TMM Shift lead of any increases or decreases in usage levels as indicated by the customer
  • Receiving all gas & chemicals from the warehouses and delivering to the appropriate point of use on the customer’s site
  • Verify all paperwork and visually inspecting all containers to ensure they meet quality levels expected by the customer
  • Complete the daily walk-through inspections of customer’s gas and chemical usage points and receiving docks
  • Manage the collection and return of gas and chemical packages to the appropriate warehouses
  • Identification & recording of all shipment discrepancies
  • Actively participate in improvements across the team

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position is essential
  • Candidates must ideally have their own transport
  • Forklift licence and manual handling would be advantageous
  • Exhibit a high level of personal Integrity and a strong customer focus
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills in English
  • Possess sound knowledge of quality systems, standards and procedures
  • Experience in the use of computers and Microsoft Office packages (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Intumescent Painter/Sprayer

We are seeking an experienced Intumescent Painter/Sprayer to apply fire-resistant intumescent coatings to structural steel and other surfaces. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating spraying equipment efficiently and safely, with a focus on maximizing volume and coverage while maintaining quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and clean surfaces for intumescent coating application, ensuring they meet specified standards.
  • Operate spraying equipment (airless sprayers, electrostatic sprayers, etc.) to apply intumescent paint evenly and efficiently.
  • Achieve maximum volume coverage per shift while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.
  • Mix and prepare coatings as per product datasheets and site requirements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of spraying equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor coating thickness and quality, adjusting techniques to meet performance criteria.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
  • Report any issues or defects promptly and recommend corrective actions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an intumescent painter or sprayer in construction or industrial environments.
  • Proficient in using various spraying equipment and techniques to maximize coverage.
  • Strong knowledge of intumescent coatings, including preparation, mixing, and application.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Understanding of safety regulations related to hazardous materials and spray application.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive spraying tasks and work at heights if required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualification or certification in painting/coating application is preferred.
  • Training in health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, COSHH) related to coating application.
  • Experience with quality control procedures and inspection techniques for intumescent coatings.
