Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and establish strong relationships within the electrical wholesale sector. The ideal candidate will bring an existing network of contacts, particularly within solar energy sales and electrical industry sales, to help expand reach and generate new business opportunities. This role will focus on selling to electrical installers, with a strong emphasis on solar products.
Our client, a leading supplier in the solar energy and electrical equipment industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to solar installers and equipment installers across Ireland is committed to revolutionising the way electrical solutions are delivered.

Location: Republic of Ireland
Salary: €60,000 + And Commission And Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business by leveraging existing relationships and bringing in new clients in the electrical and solar sectors
  • Focus on sales to solar installers, equipment installers, and the electrical wholesale market across all of Ireland
  • Use your knowledge of the electrical industry and solar solutions to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients in the industry
  • Ensure a strong understanding of the market and competitor landscape, particularly within the solar energy sector

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales within the electrical wholesale or solar industry, with a solid track record of meeting sales targets
  • Existing contacts within the solar or electrical installer market
  • Good knowledge of the electrical industry and solar energy solutions
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, while maintaining a focus on existing accounts
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet set targets.
