Conference & Sales Co-ordinator

Here at Osborne, we are hiring for a Conference & Sales Co-ordinator on behalf of our client in the Hospitality Industry, based in Co. Galway. We are looking for a talented, experienced and motivated Conference & Sales Coordinator to join their team.
As a Conference & Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in organising, planning, and executing conferences, meetings, and events while driving sales initiatives. You will act as the central point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery.

Location: Ballinasloe, Co. Galway
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent role (Please note: This is primarily Monday-Friday based; however occasional weekend work may be required)
Salary: €38-43K DOE

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement the pricing strategy with the general manager.
  • Support and liaise with the operations team during events.
  • Manage and update function sheets, Hotsoft bookings, payments, and invoices.
  • Respond promptly to event inquiries and emails.
  • Provide venue tours to clients and organise event logistics.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients and potential clients.
  • Act as the first point of contact for sales and events.
  • Build relationships with key contacts through client visits.
  • Promote the business within the local community and participate in regional and national business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Group Sales & Marketing Manager and other sales managers.
  • Represent the business at sales meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Adhere to GDPR and confidentiality policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality/hotel industry is required.
  • Relevant Sales and Marketing qualification is advantageous.
  • Strong interest in the hospitality and tourism industry.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of local affairs.
  • Proven organisational skills and a record of persistence and success.
  • Positive, ambitious, and customer-focused attitude.

Here at Osborne, we are hiring for Temporary Medical Administrators for the Galway area. Temporary positions offer a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience.

Position: Full-time/Part-time Temporary role- 3 mths expectancy (Full-time or Part-time- the choice is yours!)
Location: Co. Galway
Rate per hour: €14- €15ph

*Please note that you must be available for Immediate start in order to be considered.*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Reception: Answering phone calls, managing the reception area, and welcoming patients with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with general office tasks, including filing, data entry, handling emails, and document management.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Assisting in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Customer Service: Handling inquiries from patients and colleagues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Office Maintenance: Ensuring that office supplies are well-stocked and the work environment remains organised and tidy.
  • Supporting the office management team with additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years administration experience is required.
  • Previous experience in a Medical Administration role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
  • Flexibility to work on a temporary basis, as needed.
