  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, both water side and air side.
  • Understanding of BMS systems and other systems of control.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of working experience servicing HVAC equipment
  • F-gas certified
  • Proven experience with fault finding chiller plant and refrigeration systems
  • Full, Clean Driver's license.

We are looking to hire an experienced HVAC Engineer / Service Manager to join our company based in Waterford.
The successful candidate will have experience in both mechanical and electrical with a strong understanding of an automated environment.

The Role:

The HVAC Engineer / Service Manager are required to carry out maintenance and repair of the following equipment.

Bio-prcoessing Maintenance Technician 

The Bio-processing Maintenance Technician will be a key member in supporting the execution of operational readiness in the manufacturing facility. The Bio-processing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the oversight, scheduling and execution of Preventative Maintenance and Calibration activities relating to the new facility, utilities and process equipment. Will also provide immediate Engineering support to ongoing batch operations and become an SME in a number of systems.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate high performance behaviours, ability to work collaboratively within a cross functional team, ability to show independent initiative, to have a focus on continuous improvement and have a strong belief in supporting the right culture in the business.
  • Management and administration of the site Calibration Maintenance Management System (CMMS), PEMAC.
  • Management, ownership and execution of the site Maintenance, Calibration and Spare Parts strategies.
  • Equipment maintenance and calibration SME within the Drug Substance Aseptic Operations team.
  • Schedule, perform & document preventative and corrective maintenance of process equipment in Drug Substance Facility in accordance with cGMP and Good Engineering Practices (GEP).
  •  Active member of the team who will monitor line performance during batch processing and respond to equipment issues to minimize equipment downtime.Troubleshoot equipment issues e.g. mechanical, electrical, automation, instrumentation issues within manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure that all work carried out and equipment installed is safe, effective and in compliance with the appropriate industry standards.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities are completed in compliance with Site Engineering policies and procedures and documented appropriately in the PEMAC system
  • Ensure that all work undertaken is reflected accurately in Work Order documentation and documented appropriately in the PEMAC system and/or up to date Engineering / project information files.
  • Liaise with Engineering & manufacturing team to plan and execute planned preventative maintenance including review of drawings, OEM manuals and identification of required spare parts
  • Liaise with and support the area Senior Engineer to escalate significant equipment issues, prioritise corrective maintenance between batches and to plan identified CI activities
  • Participate and support the following processes: Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Continuous Improvement (CI), 5S, defect walk downs, 5S and quality investigations relating to equipment.
  • Own individual CI projects as identified through equipment data analysis via TPM & supported by Operations Lead
  • Review and approve work executed by external contractors such as OEM suppliers & service providers.
  • Review/prepare maintenance procedures and Engineering Work Instructions (EWIs), and other relevant documentation, where required.
  • Provide training to colleagues as per site training procedures.
  • Review equipment spares holding levels and make changes post review.
  • Any other maintenance related activities as directed by the Operations Lead
  • Support Manufacturing team to consistently deliver on specific area Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), e.g. Safety, Quality, Schedule adherence, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and team training.
  • Perform role of Shift Lead Designee as required

Experience & Qualifications

  • More than 3 years’ experience in cGMP Pharmaceutical Operations is essential.
  • More than 3 years’ experience in Drug Substance Biologics manufacturing is essential.
  • Vaccine manufacturing experience is preferable along with experience of Grade B/C cleanrooms
  • Advanced Therapeutics (Cell & Gene Therapy) manufacturing experience is a positive.
  • Aseptic operations experience is preferable.
  • The role may operate on rotating shift position and may also involve some non-scheduled call-in time to respond to plant emergencies etc. and some scheduled call-in time to attend process operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of complex equipment including one or more of electrical and mechanical issues is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use problem solving tools within a team environment such as 5 Whys, DMAIC e.g. Method 1 is desirable.
  • Due to the start-up nature of the project there will be an expectation for flexibility and an ability to take on varied tasks at short notice not covered extensively within this job description.
  • Must be able to read, write and converse in English.
  • Must have good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive influence, team orientation, attention to detail, documentation skills, problem identification and problem-solving skills
  • An ability to work independently, and as a member of a self – managed shift team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and initiative.

Education

  • Technical Engineering qualifications (C&G or equivalent) at a minimum. A Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience preferred.

Our client requires suitable candidates for an Onshore EIA Project Manager. Reporting to the Environmental & Consents Manager, the successful candidate(s) will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of the EIA workstreams for on-shore wind projects. This currently comprises two large scale projects (c.700MW each) off the South and East coasts of Ireland. As part of the Onshore EIA PM Role you will be part of a focussed multidisciplinary team working to deliver projects in line with the overall timeline of Commercial Operation by 2030.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Support and work with the Onshore Environmental and Consents Manager as well as the wider Onshore project team to deliver EIA

• Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the EIA

• Manage and co-ordinate the lead EIA consultant and 3rd party external consultants and surveyors

• Compile and manage day to day records of EIA PM documents (e.g. internal project reports, schedule, risk log, action log, CLO/FLO register)

• Ensure efficient and regular project meetings and recording of minutes and agreed actions.

• Ensure continuous planning and follow up of cost, time and programme

• Managing quality including attention to detail and accuracy, delivery of contracts on time and to the highest possible standards

• Ensure internal communication, co-operation and co-ordination between different staff members on project team with EIA consultant

• Manage internal team input to EIA actions

• Jointly manage interface with engineering input into the Project Design Envelope

• Review of EIA chapters for consistency

• Participate in stakeholder engagement relevant to EIA process e.g. prescribed bodies

• Manage survey operations, logs, data and reports

• Manage any agreements with landowners for provision of access for surveys

• Engage with Community Liaison Officer and manage consultation events

• Input to industry level consultation responses and position papers as necessary

• Flexibility to travel to project site(s) as required

• Provide general support to the Environmental & Consents Manager as required

 

Essential Criteria (max 5): (qualifications, experience, skills or knowledge you MUST SHOW YOU HAVE to be considered for the job)

• As a minimum, a primary degree in a relevant Environmental, Planning, Science or Engineering discipline with a minimum 5 years of relevant post graduate experience

• Demonstrable project co-ordination / management experience (developments or projects with multidisciplinary project teams) including managing internal and external specialists and sub-contractors

• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can also work independently

• Strong communication skills and an ability to interface with a range of different parties

• Competent in the use of MS Office Desirable Criteria: (used to help decide between candidates who meet ALL the Essential Criteria)

• Experience of renewable energy projects (offshore / onshore wind)

• Project Management qualification

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and successfully execute supplier management plans which will align to overall business objectives
  • Ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and Regulatory requirements are met
  • Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation
  • Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
  • Perform assigned quality systems and processes audits at supplier sites which provide materials, components, sub-assemblies, and services.
  • Analyze and support the resolution of complex manufacturing and compliance issues at supplier sites
  • Collect and analyze quality metrics relating to supplier quality
  • Act as a subject matter expert in key technical areas
  • Communicate supplier quality risks to upper management identifying solutions to mitigate risks
  • Maintain approved supplier list and supplier records in accordance with quality processes
  • Participate on project teams for supplier selection activities and supplier risk management
  • Participates in supplier performance reviews and quality review meetings, as needed
  • Participates in the development of measurable KPIs and supplier quality scorecards to track and trend supplier performance
  • Train and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company policies, government procedures, and regulations.
  • Provides guidance to cross functional teams in applying supplier quality system requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in science preferred or equivalent experience in related discipline
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years of Quality related experience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understands interpretation and application of quality standards in a regulated environment (ISO, GMP, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry requirements for elastomeric closures and medical devices.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills, interpretation of data, interpersonal skills, ability to work on and lead teams.
