Senior Full-Stack Engineer. Angular + Node

Why this role

  • Help design, build, and scale the companys platform using Angular on the front end and Node on the back end.
  • You will shape features end to end, mentor developers, and bring modern delivery practices that keep quality high and lead time low.

What you will do

  • Design and implement modular, testable, and scalable components for the Fusion platform using Angular, Node, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with Product Management in discovery, scoping, and technical design.
  • Lead by example in code quality. perform code reviews. refactor where it pays down risk or unlocks speed.
  • Optimise performance across API and UI, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to deployment, monitoring, debugging, and test practices for Angular applications.
  • Estimate work, communicate risks early, and keep stakeholders updated.
  • Coach teammates on Angular and Node fundamentals, patterns, and pragmatic engineering principles.
  • 2 Core stack Frontend.
  • Angular with TypeScript. HTML. CSS. Backend. Node with JavaScript. TypeScript. RESTful APIs.
  • Mobile and UI framework.
  • Ionic experience is a plus.
  • Data. MongoDB and other non-relational stores.
  • Tooling. Git, GitHub, CI and CD with Jenkins or similar. Linux and Windows familiarity.

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience delivering production web applications. including 3+ years with Angular and strong Node expertise.
  • Deep understanding of TypeScript, component architecture, RxJS patterns, and state management.
  • Strong Node fundamentals, API design, error handling, observability, and performance tuning.
  • Comfortable working in Windows/Unix/Linux environments, and an understanding of hardware architecture/private Cloud infrastructures and deployment methodologies.
  • Proven ability to decompose problems, propose options with trade-offs and ship maintainable solutions on time.
  • Comfortable working in Jira within sprint cadences. You pick up issues, keep statuses current, write clear updates, and close the loop with concise comments and links to code and PRs.
  • Excellent communication, able to explain designs, review code constructively and write crisp tickets and documentation.

  • AI in development.
  • Hands-on use of Cursor as your primary editor (or similar AI pairprogramming tools).
  • You design clear prompts, review suggestions critically and use AI for refactors, tests, and boilerplate while keeping quality and security high.
  • Experience optimising Angular builds and runtime performance at scale.
  • Ionic for hybrid mobile flows.
  • Testing tooling. Practical experience with Jest for unit and component tests, and Playwright for end to end and cross browser checks. You can design reliable test cases, stabilize flaky tests, and keep feedback loops fast in CI.
  • Experience with regulated domains such as telco or utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL Database.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Visual Studio/VS Code, Jira, and CI/CD workflows.

Nice to Have
• Deep Azure knowledge: App Services, Container Apps, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Managed Identity, and Application Insights.
• Experience with Docker for containerisation.
• Understanding of networking concepts (CDN, DNS, firewalls).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
