  • Ability to document the site in great detail (using a pre-configured template):
  • All critical information relating to client sites need to be documented, this ensures that any engineer can review the document and have an immediate knowledge benchmark for the technology used at an individual site
  • Updating of site KB’s and processes:
  • 3rd Party Applications and operational processes for sites that are non-standard such as Ticket requests for users to have VPN Access for specific applications, Vendor Access, Resolving issues for a specific Application on-site.
  • Updating of Passwords and Configurations in ITGlue
  • All passwords should be up to date and any site configuration should be updates as/when a change occurs, we should also remove legacy data or label it for ease of reference.
  • Regularly update site photos (If/When changes are implemented)
  • Provide Site updates and report back to Service Desk Manager, Account Manager and Client
  • Engineers are required to highlight concerns or issues on-site to the Account Manager and SDM to ensure this is raised with the client.
  • Make recommendations based on in-depth review and analysis of the site and all related infrastructure, processes and potential issues.
  • Liaise with company contact on urgent changes or implementations

Key Competencies:

  • Operational knowledge of servers, switches, firewalls and Cloud solutions
  • Operational knowledge of IT applications, processes, software, and equipment

  • Service awareness of all key IT services for which support is being provided
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how our technology stack is used to provide IT services

Preferred Certifications:

  • FortiGate NSE 4 / FCP (Minimum level – with 4 years working experience)
  • CISCO CCNA (Minimum level – with 2 years working experience)
  • Microsoft Azure (1 to 2 years active working experience)
  • Microsoft Intune (1 to 2 years active working experience)
  • Windows Server (Must be well versed in active directory and AD related services)
  • Virtualisation (2 to 3 years active working experience with Hyper V and VMWARE)
  • Backup solutions (Must be well versed in Datto or equivalent solution)
  • MCSE (Optional but will be advantageous)
  • Cyber security certifications advantageous
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise ticketing system will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for Global users via various channels (email, call or ticket)  
  • Provide excellent customer service, in every interaction, striving to exceed client and business expectations  
  • Take ownership of recorded Incidents and Service requests; tracking the progress and follow-up with the user to ensure they are satisfied with the resolution  
  • Manage all support in accordance with the Service Desk processes and procedures as well as ensuring all service led measurements are met
  • Complete daily operational tasks as well as any ad-hoc support setting up meeting rooms, both on and off site, for telephone/video conferencing  
  • Provide Hardware and Software support, both locally and remotely across all jurisdictions and escalate appropriately  
  • Ensure that the IT Service Desk Manager is notified of any on-going faults and training related support calls across all jurisdictions
  • Liaise with the wider IT & Change Support Team regarding outstanding calls and managing customer expectations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role  
  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11 and iOS Operating Systems  
  • Proficient with or able to quickly learn to use a broad array of networking systems hardware/software  
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to think and act independently  
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service within a busy Service Desk environment  
  • Detailed analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in technology

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical implementation of our ERP solution, including software setup, configuration, integration, and deployment.

Location: Fully Remote within the United States

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a suitable project SOW, project plan, project execution pipeline, and other associated documentation and processes for the project teams.
  • Create and gain stakeholder agreement of project schedules.
  • Control the change management process enabling effective resource planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Manage processes for project handovers from sales and to support including milestone definition within the project plan.
  • Ensure projects are sufficiently closed out to enable better resource utilization and handover to the support team.
  • Ensure that all required documentation and tools are available and accessible to the project implementation team as necessary.
  • Ensure project meetings take place at the frequency deemed necessary and customer stakeholders are managed accordingly.
  • Managing Customer expectation is paramount to the successful delivery of projects and essential for overall customer satisfaction.
  • Managing scope creep and ‘doing what we need to do’ is critical for the success of this role.
  • Introduce new methods of sharing dependent resources and utilizing said resources on single and/or multiple projects.
  • Monitoring timesheets and subsequent approval.
  • Balance multiple simultaneous projects with a strong aptitude for efficient time management as an individual and across each project team.
  • Perform detailed resource management to ensure required subject matter experts are reserved for the full project duration, adjusting and re-aligning throughout.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks to avoid disruption to scope, schedule, quality, or budget.
  • Manage project metrics including budget vs. actual and communication of status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders (Development, Sales, Hardware) to allocate resources to projects when required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading ERP project implementations.
  • Experience in lumber and building materials would be considered a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration in business or tech.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as Project Manager.
  • PMP or project management certification is a plus.
  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Sound working knowledge of customer and business account practices.
  • Excellent customer service and customer facing skills to work alongside customers on and off site.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
