Production Supervisor

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for production excellence? We're looking for a Production Supervisor to join a dynamic team and help drive operational success on the production floor, on behalf of one of our clients in the Manufacturing Industry.
As a Production Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of the daily operations. Your role will involve leading a team to meet production targets while upholding the highest standards in quality, safety, and efficiency.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Type of role: Full-Time, Permanent role| €18–€20 per hour + 20% Evening Shift Bonus
Shifts: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the production team to consistently achieve targets.
  • Coordinate shift schedules and minimise overtime in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and resolve any issues raised.
  • Manage team attendance, timekeeping, annual leave, and overtime.
  • Delegate and organise workloads to optimise output, reduce waste, and improve yield.
  • Ensure all customer delivery timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Foster strong communication within the team and across departments.
  • Conduct employee reviews, appraisals, and handle disciplinary matters with HR support.
  • Monitor production data (downtime, non-conformances, waste logs, etc.) for compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained, clean, and operated safely.
  • Oversee compliance with hygiene, safety, CCP, and quality protocols at all times.
  • Suggest process improvements and contribute to developing and updating SOPs.
  • Ensure all staff are trained, signed off, and following current SOPs.
  • Liaise with Maintenance and Plant Management on technical issues.
  • Champion a “get it right the first time” approach to production and packaging.

What You Bring:

  • Strong leadership with proven experience in managing production teams.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing procedures and quality systems.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and company production software.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • A team player who can also work independently with high standards of accuracy.
  • Previous experience in a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or similar process improvement techniques is desirable.

Here at Osborne, we are seeking a Management Accounts Assistant on behalf of one of our well-known clients within the Manufacturing Industry. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working closely with the Management Accountant. You will play a key role in preparing weekly management accounts and conducting financial analysis.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare, Hybrid working may be an option
Contract length: ASAP – February 2026
Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 DOE + €3,000 completion bonus
Hours of work: 8:30 – 17:00 / 8:00 – 16:30 / 9:00 – 17:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of weekly management accounts for multiple technologies, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
  • Support margin, yield, and production analysis, investigating variances and providing insight.
  • Conduct sales and purchase analysis to aid financial planning.
  • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analysing data.
  • Support customer profitability analysis and direct cost reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, operations, and inventory teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyse overheads and support cost control measures.
  • Identify process improvements for better efficiency and reporting.
  • Work on ad-hoc financial projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years+ experience in a similar role.
  •  Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – experience with ERP systems (e.g., Insight) is a plus.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and methodical, with a track record of meeting deadlines.

  • Manage daily operations of production lines, ensuring efficient use of resources.

  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
