CNC Programmer 

At Osborne we are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer to join a heavy engineering organisation based in Port Kembla, Australia.

As CNC Programmer you will join an organisation that provides their patented first class products into the mining sector.  Only 1.5 hours from Sydney, you will be part of a first class team that works with some of the best machinery in the world, in a workshop right beside a sunny Australia beach.

The Role:

  • The work is varied but the machinist will be responsible to competently handle a complete project from commencement to completion. 5 years’ experience in CNC 
  • You will be working with 5 axis milling and turning, heavy machining
  • Carry out work in a safe manner
  • Provide quality machining and assembly in a timely fashion

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in CNC operation and/or CAM programming is required.
  • Machinist experience with 5 axis milling and turning, heavy machining
    Proficient in Solidcam, Vericut or Solidworks.

  • Operate large CNC machines: 5 axis milling and turning
  • Okuma experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Be eligible for a visa
  • Display high level interpersonal skills, be decisive, work well in a team and complete all work to high trade standards. A forklift, rigging and/or dogging licence would be an advantage.

This organisation is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their team due to the demand and buoyant economy in Australia.

As Mechanical Fitter you will carry out repairs and inspections on fixed equipment to include modifications, upgrades, overhauls and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, fault find and conduct maintenance / repairs to mechanical and engine systems by reading and interpreting technical information, procedures, manuals and applying technical aptitude
  • Diagnose, fault find and conduct maintenance / repairs to hydraulic systems by reading schematics, interpreting technical information, testing pressures and flows and applying technical aptitude
  • Diagnose, fault find and conduct maintenance / basic repairs to electrical control systems (12, 24V) by reading schematics, interpreting technical information, testing voltages and continuity and applying technical aptitude
  • Conduct basic welding duties using specific instruments fit for the intended purpose
  • Provide service and customer support whilst completing works on customer sites
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are met during any equipment repair and/or modifications
  • Prepare detailed technical reports pertaining to condition of equipment, identifying all remedial works required
  • Compile technical record keeping requirements during works including photographic evidence of works undertaken, settings, checks, balances and any other pertinent OEM standard recording and reporting
  • Ensure all workshop vehicles, equipment and tooling is well maintained, fully operational and clean at all times, referring any issues to the Service & Technical Manager
  • Proactively support OH&S practices, policies, and initiatives to manage hazards and identify potential risks

 

Requirements:

  • Certificate III Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent
  • 2 – 3 Years post apprentice experience in the mineral processing equipment industry
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, with electrical troubleshooting capability
  • Basic welding experience
  • Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work within a small and busy team
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong focus on safety

Sales Engineer (South Dublin Area)

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling our product ranges to a variety of different sectors, including manufacturing, life sciences and food and beverage in the Munster and Connacht regions.

You will mainly be selling to Engineers in a role that will focus on servicing our many existing clients, coupled with new business development and proactive work.

Our Requirements:

  • To fill the position as a Field Sales Engineer we are looking for someone with extensive field sales experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be pro-active (consistently in touch with our key customers) and a good relationship builder.
  • We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills who are driven, ambitious, self- motivated and team players.
  • A full driving license and fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  • You will be required to work within ISO 9001:2015 framework. (Training will be provided).
  • You must be able to commute to our Dublin office daily (split is typically 2 days per week in the office, 3 on the road after the training period)

Here at Osborne, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Office Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the digital marketing department by managing administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate has excellent organisational and communication skills, is tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the onsite and field service team, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling correspondence, and organising travel arrangements.
  2. Data Management: Assist in organising and maintaining digital marketing data, including campaign reports, analytics, and customer databases. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data, and generate reports as required.

  8. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitors, and digital marketing best practices. Summarize findings and provide recommendations to the team.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  3. Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
