Our client are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Quality Control Warehouse Manager to lead their Dublin 15 warehouse operation, with a primary focus on quality assurance, inspection standards, and shipping accuracy.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring all goods are received, inspected, handled, and dispatched to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in protecting the reputation by ensuring every shipment meets strict client, regulatory, and international requirements. We are looking for a proven warehouse leader with strong quality control experience and the confidence to manage both people and processes in a live operational environment. There will be some travel required with this role to the UK and European countries.

Responsibilities:
Take ownership of quality control across all warehouse operations
Oversee inbound and outbound processes, including: Goods receiving and detailed inspection, Quality checks and issue identification & Repacking and preparation for dispatch
Ensure all shipments meet strict quality, accuracy, and compliance standards
Maintain full compliance with international shipping and customs documentation
Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions
Maintain accurate stock records and warehouse systems

Leadership & Team Management:

Key Requirements:

This role will oversee all plant maintenance, engineering operations and site facilities. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, reliability and continuous improvement across a busy production environment.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will lead a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of all plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of 13 maintenance personnel, including supervisors and coordinators
Drive plant efficiencies, focusing on resolving recurring maintenance issues through a CMMS
Design and implement maintenance strategies, including preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
Collaborate with production teams to support site schedules and minimise downtime
Diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical systems and implement long-term solutions
Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery
Manage maintenance budgets, KPIs and overall equipment effectiveness
Control spare parts, inventory and purchasing processes, including PO management
Monitor and report on utilities usage (electricity, gas, water, steam, refrigeration)
Manage contractors and ensure compliance with site procedures and safety standards
Ensure all statutory maintenance, calibration and compliance checks are completed
Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as required
Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across the site
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years’ experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment (within food manufacturing is advantageous)
Electrical qualification with strong industrial experience
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage high-performing teams
Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Strong background in contractor and inventory management

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and road transport, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
Take full responsibility for customs clearance activities, including the accurate preparation, submission, and validation of import and export declarations in line with Irish, EU, and international regulations.
Act as the main point of contact with Irish Revenue and other regulatory authorities, managing audits, inspections, and post-clearance queries as required.
Provide expert advice on Incoterms, tariff classification, customs valuation, origin rules, and duty management.
Coordinate daily with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, customs brokers, and overseas agents to ensure seamless shipment execution.
Proactively monitor shipments, identifying and resolving delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues efficiently.
Prepare accurate freight quotations, manage operational costs, and support margin control and budgeting activities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering professional guidance on customs processes, documentation, and regulatory best practice.
Stay informed on changes to customs legislation, trade agreements, and industry developments, ensuring ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and system enhancements within customs and freight operations.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customs operations, with proven experience managing air, sea, and road shipments.
4–5 years’ hands-on experience preparing and submitting Irish Revenue customs entries within a logistics or freight forwarding environment.
Strong, practical experience dealing with Irish Revenue and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), including electronic entries and inspections.
Proven experience processing fruit and fresh produce import entries, with a solid understanding of SPS, phytosanitary, and documentary requirements.
Excellent knowledge of EU and Irish customs regulations, import/export controls, and post-Brexit compliance requirements.
Experience working within a large logistics or freight forwarding organisation.
Familiarity with freight forwarding software and Transport Management Systems (TMS); customs systems knowledge is highly desirable.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately under time pressure.
Proactive, solutions-driven approach with a strong focus on detail and compliance.
