Yard Operative Role

A leading multi-franchise car dealership is seeking to appoint a Yard Operative to support the sales and service teams by ensuring the smooth and professional presentation of vehicles and customer areas.

General Objectives:

Manage the display and presentation of new and used vehicles.
Oversee the cleanliness and appearance of the forecourt and showrooms.
Contribute to a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Inspect new vehicles upon delivery from manufacturers.
Assess used vehicles following trade-ins.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles displayed in showrooms and on the forecourt.
Approve the cleanliness of vehicles after valet services.
Wash and refresh vehicles on display as needed.
Capture high-quality photographs and videos of vehicles for online listings.
Prepare vehicles for handover to customers.
Perform general duties around the forecourt as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Full, valid driver’s licence.
Strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Conditions:

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.
