We are seeking a skilled Site Commissioning Engineer with expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, optimising, and troubleshooting BMS and HVAC systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and client expectations.
Location: Ireland & Europe (Travel Required)
Key Responsibilities:
Commission and optimise BMS systems including Trend, Distech, Tridium, and Cylon to meet project specifications.
Implement and fine-tune control strategies for various building systems on-site.
Commission and optimize HVAC plant operation for energy efficiency and performance.
Develop, write, and commission BMS Controller Strategies in line with project objectives.
Design and commission Frontend Graphics for BMS systems, ensuring they align with client requirements.
Interpret and apply commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and as-built drawings.
Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of BMS systems, resolving any technical issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during commissioning and project execution.
Provide technical support during commissioning and startup phases.
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified to work on live BMS Panels.
Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer with expertise in building automation systems and HVAC plant operation.
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and procedures.
Proficiency in Trend, Cylon, Tridium, and other BMS platforms.
Experience in writing and commissioning BMS Controller Strategies.
Skilled in developing and commissioning Frontend Graphics for BMS systems.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Willingness to travel within Ireland and Europe (typically for short periods).
