Assist with month-end financial reporting preparation.
Conduct financial analysis, including historical reviews and forward-looking projections.
Support the integration of an acquisition company into financial reporting, systems, and processes.
Ensure the adoption of Group accounting policies within the acquisition company.
Contribute to financial modelling and system enhancements.
Manage ad hoc financial tasks related to the acquisition company.

Are you a skilled financial accountant looking for a challenging role with potential for permanency? We're seeking a dynamic professional to join a reputable not-for-profit based in Dublin 7. This is a temporary position with strong potential to become permanent, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a close-knit finance team. The successful candidate will be stepping into a role previously held by a long-standing team member, requiring a quick learner who can hit the ground running.
Salary: €70,000 Contract: Initially Temporary, with view to Permanency Location: Dublin 7 (with parking)
Key Responsibilities:
Produce management accounts and year-end financial statements
Perform reconciliations, including salary reconciliations
Manage specialized payments, including priest payments
Handle collections uploads and process automations
Contribute to budgeting processes
Review consolidated parish books for two associated charities
Document processes and create handover notes
The Ideal Financial Accountant:
Is a qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience
Can quickly adapt to new systems and processes
Has excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Is proactive and can work both independently and as part of a team
