Senior Sales Team Leader (National – Ireland & Northern Ireland)
Our client, a well-established and growing distributor of premium lubricant oils, AdBlue, and related products to the automotive, agricultural, plant, and industrial sectors, is seeking to appoint a Senior Sales Team Leader to drive sales growth, lead a dynamic team, and support the continued expansion of the business across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This is a national role offering excellent career development potential for an experienced sales leader who can combine strategic planning with hands-on sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a national sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow new and existing customer relationships across multiple sectors.
- Manage key accounts and identify new business opportunities to support sales growth.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of sales personnel.
- Work collaboratively with area managers and wider team to drive national performance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across a wide client base, from SMEs to major buying groups.
- Ensure alignment with overall company objectives and sales budgets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven leadership experience in a B2B field sales environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and close opportunities.
- Experience in the automotive, agricultural, plant, or industrial sectors is highly advantageous.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working autonomously while contributing to a team-driven environment.
- Organised, self-motivated, and results-focused.
- Full clean driver’s licence required.
- Fluent English essential.
Location:
- This is a national role covering Ireland and Northern Ireland. Candidates must be willing to travel as required.
