Homecare Assessor – North Midlands region 

Here at Osborne, we are currently working with a very well-established reputable client specialising in Homecare across the country. We are currently hiring an Assessor for the North Midlands region.
 The Clinical Homecare Assessor will be working closely with medical professionals and other healthcare providers, the Clinical Homecare Assessor evaluates patients' medical conditions, assesses their needs, and determines the appropriate level of care and support required for home-based treatment.
 
Locations: North Midlands
Salary: €38,000 plus fuel card
Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexibility needed for weekend work)
 
Essential:

  • Full Drivers Licence and access to a car
  • Experience or qualification in Healthcare Administration / Nursing / Social care work or related field is ESSENTIAL
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Existing authorisation to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of Clients' medical conditions, functional abilities, and psychosocial needs to determine their eligibility for home-based healthcare services
  • Including environmental, decision making, financial and medication risk assessments
  • Develop individualised care plans based on the assessment findings, outlining appropriate tasks, interventions, and goals for the Client's well-being
  • Collaborate with PHN, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to gather and exchange information, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to Client care
  • Educate Clients and their families about their care plan, self-care techniques, and safety measures to promote understanding and adherence to the care plan
  • Educate the HCAs on clients’ needs and assess for suitability and facilitate handover with the HCAs.
  • Coordinate with the home support office to arrange necessary healthcare services, medical equipment, and supplies required for homecare
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, care plans, reviews, and Client progress in a timely manner, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Update all relevant information to the company software, the supervisors, managers, and administrators.
  • Create a weekly report for management and the administrators
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancing care delivery processes and ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field. A higher degree or certification in home healthcare or clinical assessment is preferred
  • Valid nursing license or relevant professional certification as required by the state or country of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting, with a focus on Client assessment and care planning
  • Strong understanding of medical conditions, treatment modalities, and care protocols relevant to homecare. Familiarity with home healthcare regulations and HSE systems is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and Client-centred approach to care
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software for documentation, communication, and data analysis

We are currently hiring for an experienced Management Accountant on a contract basis for our client based in Co.Cavan. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse material usage for variances relating to Raw Materials and Packing materials.

  • Work with operations teams to review usage variances and corrective actions to improve data accuracy as required.

  • Participate in process improvement teams relating to material usage control and LEAN to drive greater data accuracy and reporting and reduce cost of production.

  • Assist in preparing plans/LBE’s quarterly/yearly and load to external systems and tie out to local records.

  • Ensure relevant monthly reconciliations are prepared and approved.

  • Provide finance support to site in relation to projects, new products etc.

  • Provide detailed BOM analysis for new product launches.

  • Provide full costing analysis for plant expansion opportunities or other RCEs for the site.

  • Track cost changes and scenario differences throughout RCE approval cycle as requested.

  • S&OP review and absorption projections for LBE’s.

  • Ownership of standard cost setting processes and calculation including integration of overheads and development of monthly absorption for plan, and reconciliation to in batch system.

  • Responsible for completion of SCOP, standard to standard and actual to actual analysis, product cost change analysis.

  • Finance Representative for Pier Process, Work with Project Managers on Trial cost estimates, recharging and tracking costs.

  • Finance Representative on NPI (New Product Intro) Team.

  • Work with Operations and Technical Teams on estimating cost improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate and provide data for Internal & External Auditors.

  • Annual Physical Stock-take Co-ordination and Reconciliation for the Site and offsite warehouses.

  • Month end analysis of OCNIS, Distressed Inventory, Overtime/Payroll, Tech Centre costs.

  • Month end journals including MUV, CIP and transfer journal and others as required.

  • Complete month end schedules such as CSO – Payroll, MBR, Overtime, CAR reporting.

  • Prepare performance statements and conduct variance analysis with controller. Load results to external systems.

Key Requirements

  • Accountancy qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end monthly payroll for all Group Office employees in Ireland.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll data to our third-party UK payroll provider.

  • Set up all monthly salary payments and liaise with the bank to ensure all payments are processed.

  • Manage and process employee benefits such as pensions, BIK (benefit-in-kind), bonuses, and share schemes.

  • Deliver insights on expenses being incurred and identify cost saving opportunities.

  • Analyse and report on employee travel bookings through our third-party travel partner.

  • Maintain a financial controls environment compliant with the Group Accounting Manual and readiness for audits by internal and external audit. 

  • Prepare monthly headcount reports. 

  • Prepare and submit all CSO reports.

  • Coordinate with HR to maintain up-to-date employee records.

  • Manage the onboarding/offboarding process of employees including profile and workflow set up for;

  • SAP Concur Expense Management

  • SAP Concur Invoice Management

  • Third party travel system 

  • Co-ordinate with HR to identify a suitable HR/Payroll system solution.

  • Engage with Group Office Finance and IT to implement the identified system solution.

  • Investigate and lead opportunities to deploy AI and automation solutions within payroll processes (e.g., intelligent journal creation, reporting automation).

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational or complex organisation.

  • IPASS qualification required

  • Strong knowledge of Irish and UK payroll legislation, taxes, and Revenue/HMRC filing requirements.

  • Experience managing employee expenses and Revenue ERR reporting.
