Key Account Manager

Ireland’s leading food organisation within the health and nutrition sector is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated, driven and who has a genuine passion for delivering the best products in their business to their customers.
Working with some of the largest companies in the business, you will work with some of the best accounts out there, whilst developing new business.  The role encompasses a blend of business development and account management into pharmacies and health stores.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop country level key account strategy for one or more accounts including account planning, revenue targets, considering country business strategy, financial objectives.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing company marketing strategy and advertising.
  • Oversee and control sales activities and initiatives related to key accounts across the country with significant impact on overall results and objectives
  • Review portfolio strategy to achieve alignment with business plans
  • Contribute to defining pricing strategies, contract negotiations for the accounts at country level
  • Steer key account retention, business growth, sales results and profitability.
  • Engage with senior management of key accounts in support of business development and transformational deals
  • Support country key accounts and drive internal and external collaboration.
  • Understand and keep up to date with market trends and customer requirements at country level, translate products into solutions to meet their needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a FMCG or Pharmacy Sales in a Key Account Management role
  • Relevant third level qualification desirable
  • High degree of Industry knowledge
  • Customer facing and service oriented mentality with experience working with large customers
  • Self-directed working style
  • Results driven
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and presentations skills; the ability to communicate effectively at peer and senior management and board level essential.
  • Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with Customers and Colleagues
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to manage various projects/tasks across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to create collaborative work environment.
  • Strong MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint
