About the Role:
Supported by the wider Project Management and Engineering teams, the Project Engineer will be reporting to the Project Director and Senior Project Engineer, the Mechanical/Project Engineer will work on our key projects and assist in carrying the project through to successful completion.

Key duties of the role include, but are not restricted to:

  • Generating project schedules in conjunction with project team
  • Monitoring project work progress
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Project engineering submissions and value engineering
  • Project procurement and materials management
  • Project build review and interaction with co-contractors
  • Designing in 3D using AutoCAD 3D software
  • Designing systems and components that meet needs and requirements
  • Conducting experiments methodically, analysing data and interpreting results
  • Test and evaluate theoretical designs
  • Producing outline designs
  • Conducting experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results
  • Evaluating final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
  • Altering and modifying designs to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions

About You
The ideal candidate will be organised and efficient, pay strong attention to detail and be a good communicator. You will:

  • Possess a relevant 3rd level qualification, at level 8 or above
  • Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems
  • Have at least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Have an interest in working within the Construction industry
  • Be comfortable in use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports
  • Be conscientious, have excellent attention to detail and an ability to multitask
  • Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to  take accountability
  • The ability to contribute comfortably as part of a team
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Ireland (essential)

  • Factory Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with factory counterparts. Act as the primary liaison for resolving any issues related to procurement, production, and supply chain management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess the performance of internal factories in terms of delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost efficiency. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to address them.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks within the supply chain related to internal procurement and devise strategies to mitigate these risk
  • Hire develop and manage a team as to support the increasing scope of the PSI processes and business growth.

Requirements:

Job Overview:
Our client are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Junior Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various engineering activities, by generating technical submittals, device submittals, schedules, delivery dockets, and performing general administrative tasks. Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant tools is essential for this role. The role will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Submittals – Create and compile technical submittals for engineering projects, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Device Submittals and Schedules – Prepare device submittals, outlining equipment specifications, installation requirements, and performance criteria.
  • Delivery Dockets – Generate and manage delivery dockets, verifying accuracy of delivered materials and equipment.
  • General Administration – Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including data entry, file management, and document organization.
  • Communication and Collaboration – Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external stakeholders to gather information and address inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Level 5 or 6 in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or proven work experience with the below)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferable:

  • Prior experience in technical documentation, administration, or engineering support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and software tools is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • BMS/ HVAC experience is an advantage.

Here in Osborne, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance of our client's on-site manufacturing machines and equipment.
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring optimal efficiency and a reduction in downtime

Package:

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficient in electrical fault finding/diagnostics
  • Possess a third-level qualification in relevant fields Automation Engineering/ Electrics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar, or relevant trade qualification with manufacturing experience
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a high-volume medical device manufacturing environment
  • Competency in high-volume automation/robotics, diagnosing issues, and relevant programming
  • Extensive experience in various technical domains like Pneumatics, Electronics, Hydraulics, etc.
  • Demonstrated involvement in process improvement projects within a medical device environment
  • Strong communication skills and familiarity with QMS principles
  • Capable of both independent work and collaboration within a team
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance to support Production targets and continuous improvement based on Lean Principles
  • Support all facets of machine and equipment maintenance, installation, and modification
  • Execute detailed equipment surveys, maintenance, calibrations, PMs, and troubleshooting as required
  • Maintain equipment in top-notch condition, ensuring consistent quality and yield
  • Operate and monitor equipment using ERP/DCS and PLC based systems for optimum uptime
  • Troubleshoot and repair various complex systems under minimal supervision
  • Interpret diagrams, layouts, and specifications to plan and execute maintenance and repairs
  • Employ systematic root-cause problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Lead process improvements while adhering to change management and cGMP requirements
  • Document all maintenance work, upgrades, and parts used to maintain accurate repair records
  • Maintain a well-organized spare parts system and manage vendor relations
  • Assist in general facility upkeep and provide customer support
  • Uphold the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards
  • Fully participate in cross-skilling and job-related development training
  • Adhere to quality, safety, and environmental standards and procedures
