  • Input into the preparation of statutory observations on development plans, balancing all the relevant requirements
  • Continuously and pro-actively keeping up to date with the latest developments in professional planning practice in relation to planning and sustainable development
  • Liaising and interacting with planning authorities, regional assemblies, central Government and other key stakeholders in the achievement of business objectives

Essential criteria:

  • A professional qualification in planning recognised by the Irish Planning Institute or the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • A strong career track record in the planning area post the qualification above.

  • Design and develop electronics for test and production equipment from specification to validation

  • Perform verification, testing and debugging using lab equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyser, function generators or spectrum analyser

  • Working collaboratively with other engineering teams (product, automation, mechanical, control) and manufacturing team

  • Desirable: Create schematics and PCB layouts for Inertial systems (gyroscope, accelerometers, IMU…), test equipment and production equipment

Skills Needed:

  • Experience of analogue electronics (in particular signal conditioning), micro controllers and data interface (e.g. RS-422, RS-485, CAN…) circuit design
  • Hardware test experience – design verification, debug and failure analysis to component level and experience in using Lab test equipment
  • Knowledge of writing technical documents (boards schematics, design report, design justification document)
  • Bachelor’s degree level in electronics engineering

Preferred requirements:

  • Knowledge of IPCX electronic standards (to build the bare board)
  • Familiar with SPICE model simulations
  • Knowledge Power supply design (linear and switched mode, loop compensation)
  • Knowledge of working with Sensors (especially inertial sensors) & embedded systems
  • Knowledge of electronics design CAD (Cadence OrCAD preferred)
  • Experience with micro-controller and FPGA based design
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI design best practices
  • Experience in ECSS/MIL standards
  • Experience in layout of mixed signal multilayer PCB board.

Test and Fix:

  • You will check that everything is working correctly and fix any issues you find.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
