At Osborne we are currently recruiting for Jetting operative to join a leading provider of Pipe and Drain Surveying, Inspection, Pipe Repair and Pipe Renovation services in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • can be based anywhere in Ireland
  • Weekly travel to sites
  • Cleaning of drains for CCTV and Repair
  • Drive the vehicle to site and comply with all statuary vehicle checks. 
  • Set out traffic management as per TM plan 
  • Configure the jet head to the appropriate size for the pipe dimension. 
  • Cleaning of sewers generally in the dimension 100mm to 300mm 
  • Manual removal of silt from sewer manhole upon completion of jetting 
  • Keep the work area safe. 
  • Liaise with the general public. 
  • Keep the work area of the van clean. 
  • Minor maintenance of jetting equipment 
  • Travel nationwide and overnight if required

Skills Required:

  • Safe pass. 
  • Manual handling. 
  • Confined space. 
  • T.M. SLG. 
  • Clean driving license ( C minimum) 
  • CPC 
  • Plumbing experience will be highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly travel to sites
  • Installation of Inversion and winch in place liners 
  • Select the required liner from the warehouse and load on installation vehicle 
  • Drive the vehicle to site and comply with all statuary vehicle checks. 
  • Set out traffic management as per TM plan 
  • Liaise with cleaners / CCTV to ensure that the sewer is ready for lining 
  • Set up over pumping if required 
  • Prepare the material and inversion tube / sliding foil for installation into the pipe 
  • Configure the light train to the appropriate size for the pipe dimension. 
  • Maintenance of equipment, daily checks on generators / air blowers / compressors 
  • Installing inversion liners in dimension 100mm to 450mm 
  • Installing WIP liners in dimension 100mm to 1350mm 
  • Cutting of liner ends and removal of inner foil 
  • Keep the work area safe. 
  • Liaise with the general public. 
  • Liaise and programme the works with dedicated lateral reopening crew 
  • Travel nationwide and overnight if required 

Skills Required:

  • Safe pass 
  • Confined space 
  • Manual handling 
  • SLG training required. 
  • Abrasive wheels 
  • Plumbing experience will be highly preferred

Requirements:

Competencies required:

  • You will be responsible for Technical inspection of electro-mechanical parts & large in-vitro diagnostic instrumentation in a low volume, high complexity & highly regulated technology environment
  • You will be responsible for completing, maintaining & reviewing all necessary paperwork and test data for each system/ module to ensure that accurate Quality records are available.
  • You will support quality aspects of instrument manufacture & support resolution in a timely manner to ensure daily output targets are achieved while developing, improving & maintaining good manufacturing practices & workmanship standards with a quality & process robustness focus.

Key functions:

  • You must have experience in being a part of teams & projects with good communications skills, written & verbal.

  • You must have strong trouble shooting & practical experience in instrument(s)

  • As required, you will contribute to various Quality Assurance activities onsite supporting the manufacture of large IVD instrumentation while working collaboratively across the manufacturing site with engineering, production and procurement.

The Osborne Technical and Engineering team are working with a well established and growing food manufacturing client based in Tallaght. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join their leadership team
The ideal candidate will plan, lead direct, and monitor all production to maximise the use of the organisation’s resources to deliver finished goods to customer demand and meet established production specifications. The Production Manager will also ensure that robust control procedures are implemented, maintained & enhanced to ensure the highest quality products are produced following strict HACCP guidelines.

The Role:

  • Manage all aspects of the performance of the production facility maximizing efficiencies and labour utilization
  • Lead the implementation of the company’s FSQMS throughout the facility to ensure agreed food safety and quality standards are always met.
  • Consult & engage with all relevant departments & stakeholders.
  • Generation of all production / management data and dealing with same accordingly
  • Ensure handling and use of all ingredients / finished product targets a zero-wastage approach.
  • Ensure all costs are measured, monitored, and controlled within budget.
  • Ensure Lean and continuous improvement applied in all processes.
  • Maintain and improve the production facility to ensure we are constantly audit ready for announced and unannounced audits.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to efficiently address identified issues and minimize downtime.
  • Manage by walk about and react decisively in quick moving situations.
  • Chair production meetings involving relevant supervisors, maintenance, quality, and material supply teams.
  • Manage Rosters & Annual leave requests.
  • Conduct employee appraisals and probationary performance reviews as well as ongoing performance management in conjunction with the HR department.
  • Propose new initiatives and define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to adapt to evolving processes, plus define training matrix as required.
  • Deal with employee issues and disciplinary in conjunction with the HR department
  • Ensure Shift supervisors have the necessary skills and training to lead their teams effectively.
  • Define and lead a framework for training, cross-training and development for production and hygiene staff.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading team in a similar role/environment
  • HACCP minimum level 3
  • Strong business knowledge in fast moving manufacturing business
  • Proven track record in team development and management essential
  • Possess good understanding of processes, variables, and basic engineering.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, optimism, and a can-do attitude.
  • Have strong financial and numeracy skills.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities while being a team player.
  • Motivate and lead all direct teams, taking responsibility for operations.
  • Proficient in planning activities and projects using effective planning tools.
