Mechanical Engineer

This role involves overseeing the design, installation, and client support for custom containment systems. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between the company and clients, ensuring high standards of service and quality.

• Location: Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork
• Reports to: Engineering Manager
• Salary: DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend client sites to assess requirements and design containment solutions
• Develop product concepts and specifications in collaboration with clients
• Create and present design proposals, including detailed sketches for drafting
• Oversee installation of systems and ensure functionality meets client expectations
• Deliver training and complete project handovers
• Prepare client quotations and assist in business development efforts
• Provide ongoing support to clients and contribute to new sales and account growth
• Support trade shows and marketing initiatives

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering (Level 8)
• Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments
• Project management and CAD/drafting exposure
• Mechanical background
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
