Financial Accountant – Permanent Position

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Dublin 6W! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Financial Accountant to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the firm, you will contribute to the success of clients through the preparation of financial accounts, management accounts, and engagement in audit processes.

Salary: €60,000 – €80,000 DOE
Location: Dublin 6W
Job Type: Hybrid Working
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
Annual Leave: 20 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end accounts for non-audit clients
• Assist colleagues in various accounting tasks
• Compile management accounts and sole trader accounts
• Complete audit engagements for small and medium-sized companies
• Support partners in special client engagements
• Submit Corporation tax returns
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients

The Ideal Candidate:

• Part Qualified/Qualified with a professional body (ACA / ACCA / CPA)
• 3-4+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of accountancy production software package
• Familiarity with Account Production Software
