Financial Accountant
Are you a skilled financial accountant looking for a challenging role with potential for permanency? We're seeking a dynamic professional to join a reputable not-for-profit based in Dublin 7. This is a temporary position with strong potential to become permanent, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a close-knit finance team. The successful candidate will be stepping into a role previously held by a long-standing team member, requiring a quick learner who can hit the ground running.
Salary: €70,000
Contract: Initially Temporary, with view to Permanency
Location: Dublin 7 (with parking)
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce management accounts and year-end financial statements
- Perform reconciliations, including salary reconciliations
- Manage specialized payments, including priest payments
- Handle collections uploads and process automations
- Contribute to budgeting processes
- Review consolidated parish books for two associated charities
- Document processes and create handover notes
The Ideal Financial Accountant:
- Is a qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience
- Can quickly adapt to new systems and processes
- Has excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Is proactive and can work both independently and as part of a team
