Within this company, they have an opening for a Senior Formulations Specialist to join their team and grow with the company. The company have been producing animal feeds since. The ethos is PRECISION NUTRITION – Providing scientifically advanced nutrition and healthcare solutions for animal well-being and performance. They produce premium performance equine feeds, pet food and supplements, and our expertise in research and innovation has been built up over five generations.
Their customers range from the Ireland and the UK to Continental Europe, the USA, Middle East, Japan and elsewhere in the Far East.

Purpose
The primary aim of this position is to ensure the production of product to the highest quality standards as set down by the company. Liaise closely with the Area Manager and staff to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer demands.

Duties and Responsibility:

Production
Operation of the seed plant, screening / cleaning of grain, dressing of all varieties of seed grain and bagging of seed. Operation of harvest grain dryers when required. You are expected to provide an excellent service and responsiveness to all customers.

Harvest
Preparation for Harvest

  • Cleaning of stores
  • Spraying of stores for infestation
  • Cleaning of grain dryers
  • Test run all equipment
  • Cleaning out intake pits and hoppers
  • Dryer maintenance and calibration of equipment
  • Inspection and testing of grain and seed arriving on site
  • Operation of dryers to maximum efficiency
  • Sampling and Testing
  • Storage of dry grain and seed

Post Harvest

  • Recording of grain temperatures in stores

 
Storage

    • Keeping of records for stores, what products were stored in each store / bin and when. Allocation of raw materials to stores. Planning of use of stores for different products

 
Quality / Hygiene

  • Ensure adherence to product specifications
  • Comply with department of agriculture and other regulations
  • Ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest possible standards at all times

 
General

  • You may be required to perform other tasks for the company from time to time as part of your duties
  • You are expected to carry out your duties in a manner that inspires the respect and confidence of the customers and your colleagues and reflects the desired image of the company.
  • Ensure site security is kept to a maximum at all times
  • Operate weighbridge when required

Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will liaise directly with the SMT and will be responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance across several jurisdictions.  The Management Accountant will undertake the accurate and timely reporting of financial performance across a range of Survey, Design, Build & Consulting projects.

This role is a full-time requirement with competitive remuneration and benefits. Prior experience within Telecoms, Construction or Engineering is preferred or a strong compliance & reporting background within a mid-large accounting practice.

Requirements:

•          Must be fully qualified ACCA ACA or CIMA

•          5 years’ experience in a similar role.

•          Sage, IT / ERP systems and M/S Excel, Word Advanced IT Skills.

Key tasks & Responsibilities
 

•          Lead on monthly management accounts (P & L, B Sheet and Cashflow)

•          Monthly, quarterly and annual project gross margin analysis, variance commentary and identification of process and cost saving opportunities.

•          Annual budgeting and rolling forecasting lead.

•          Ensure highest standard of financial processes, business intelligence, reporting and compliance across several jurisdictions (Corporate, VAT, PAYE, RCT, CIS & other). Demonstrable experience of timely and accurate filings to Revenue & HMRC.

•          Monitor and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

•          Evaluate and improve the organisational structures and the governance framework.

•          Interface with third party professional service providers with debrief to senior management.

•          Design and deliver KPIs

•          Preparing for all audits

•          Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.

Salary: €55,000 – €60,000

Bonus: KPI based incentive @10% per year.

Hybrid option: 2 / 3 days per week.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Full working knowledge of ISO45001 (18001) and experience in working with ISO14001 and
  • ISO9001, (ISO50001 / 27001) is an advantage.
  • Trained auditor or can demonstrate on the job auditing experience.
  • Delivering presentations and writing competent reports.
  • Experience in issuing, following up and closing corrective actions.
  • Experience in dealing with external auditors.
  • Knowledge and experience of operational activities within domestic, Social Housing setting
