Our client is seeking a temporary Credit Controller to exclusively manage debt collection, maintain the debtors ledger and communicate with customers through phone calls and emails. The successful candidate will work with the SAGE system and will be responsible for ensuring timely payments from customers, resolving payment disputes, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This is a part-time position requiring the candidate to work 3-4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Actively manage debt collection and ensure timely payments from customers.
Maintaining accurate records of customer communication and payment status.
Resolving customer queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
Communicating with customers through phone calls and emails to follow up on outstanding invoices.
Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring that payments are allocated correctly.
Investigating and resolving discrepancies in customer accounts.
Provide regular updates to management on the status of customer accounts and progress made in debt recovery efforts.
Requirements:
Proven experience in credit control and debt collection.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
Familiarity with SAGE or similar accounting software.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in credit control and debt collection.
Familiarity with Irish debt collection laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Working collaboratively with the Group M&A team and its network of advisors on investment appraisals and the completion of tax due diligence and legal workstreams, e.g. SPA review
Experience:
ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (international equivalent) with approx. 4 years PQE coming from a practice or industry
Experience & knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP tax accounting principles (ESSENTIAL)
Substantial experience working on listed multinational businesses in either a tax, or audit role
Fundamental tax knowledge & consolidation reporting
Excellent computer skills, including advanced level MS Excel skills
Experience using an ERP system such as SAP
Preferably coming from one of the Big4/Top10/PLC
