Where You’ll Be Based:
Cavan – fully on-site
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in line with Irish GAAP/IFRS
Maintain the general ledger, manage reconciliations and post journal entries
Oversee payment processing and ensure vendor terms are met
Partner with senior leadership and global finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Serve as the primary finance contact across international departments
Manage banking activities and ensure healthy cashflow
Coordinate internal and external audits
Enhance financial controls and reporting efficiencies
Monitor supplier agreements and manage commercial terms
Support payroll, AP, and other essential finance functions
What You’ll Bring:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial accounting role—multinational or fast-paced environments preferred
Strong grasp of Irish accounting and tax regulations
Experience with international or multi-entity operations
Proficiency in financial systems—SAP and/or Power BI a bonus
Familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous

Duties:
Support daily operations on the factory floor
Work closely with Health & Safety and other departments
Help run safety checks, audits, and toolbox talks
Support risk assessments and safety reviews
Coordinate with consultants, first aid, and fire safety teams
Keep records and track safety actions or training
Help investigate any incidents and ensure follow-up actions are taken
Make sure we meet important safety and quality standards (like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)
Requirements:
A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, or an Engineering background with safety training
Strong IT skills – especially Microsoft Office
Someone who is comfortable in both the office and on the factory floor
Good communicator who can work with people at all levels
Organised, reliable, and takes pride in their work
Able to work on their own or as part of a team
Someone who is proactive and ready to make improvement.

Ownership of standard cost setting processes and calculation including integration of overheads and development of monthly absorption for plan, and reconciliation to in batch system.
Responsible for completion of SCOP, standard to standard and actual to actual analysis, product cost change analysis.
Finance Representative for Pier Process, Work with Project Managers on Trial cost estimates, recharging and tracking costs.
Finance Representative on NPI (New Product Intro) Team.
Work with Operations and Technical Teams on estimating cost improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and provide data for Internal & External Auditors.
Annual Physical Stock-take Co-ordination and Reconciliation for the Site and offsite warehouses.
Month end analysis of OCNIS, Distressed Inventory, Overtime/Payroll, Tech Centre costs.
Month end journals including MUV, CIP and transfer journal and others as required.
Complete month end schedules such as CSO – Payroll, MBR, Overtime, CAR reporting.
Prepare performance statements and conduct variance analysis with controller. Load results to external systems.
Key Requirements:
Accountancy qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
5 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
