Customer Service Representative

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client based in Cavan for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and liaising with both customers and internal departments to ensure the smooth coordination of orders and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers regarding orders, product updates, and general queries

  • Gathering and coordinating customer order details

  • Working closely with the design and planning teams to coordinate timelines and delivery dates

  • Managing customer communications and ensuring updates are provided efficiently

  • Handling customer queries via phone and email

  • Hosting clients when visiting on-site

  • Updating and maintaining internal systems and records

  • Providing general administrative support

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service and administration

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • High attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a busy environment

  • Strong phone and email communication skills

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Manufacturing industry experience would be an advantage, but is not essential

The Package:

  • Monday to Friday role

  • Five days per week on-site

IT Administrator – User Support

Osborne are delighted to be partnering with a leading client in the recruitment of an IT Administrator in Cavan.
This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of a longer term opportunity based on performance and business needs.
The successful candidate will have a min of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and ideally experience working in the manufacturing sector.

Salary and Benefits:

  • 6 month contract with a possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to local and global users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, operating systems, and applications.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with security policies.

  • Support and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN environments.

  • Administer and maintain systems such as access control, CCTV, and timekeeping.

  • Handle incident tickets and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.

  • Assist with IT projects and day-to-day operational tasks.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and share knowledge with team members and users.

  • Deliver user training and promote IT best practices and security awareness.

  • Liaise with vendors for procurement, support, and maintenance services.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and data protection requirements.

  • Provide high-quality customer service and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.

Educational / Certification Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Preferred: Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or ITIL Foundation. Additional certifications in networking, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), or security are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum: 2+ years of IT support experience, with knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, hardware troubleshooting, and networked devices (printers, scanners). Basic understanding of Active Directory and LAN environments.

  • Preferred: Experience with Windows Server, data backup, print servers, NAS/SAN storage, VOIP systems, and basic network cabling. Barcode printer experience is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good documentation skills and attention to details
