Tail Lift (Hydraulics) Engineer – Cork, Roscommon, Dublin

The Osborne Technical and Engineering team are currently sourcing Tail Lift (Hydraulic) Engineers to join our clients growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of tail lifts, including hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems. They should have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team

Roles are available in CORK, ROSCOMMON and DUBLIN

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing new tail lifts onto vehicles
  • Servicing and maintaining tail lifts in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on tail lift systems
  • Completing all necessary documentation and paperwork
  • Carrying out safety checks and ensuring that all tail lifts meet industry safety standards
  • Providing technical support to customers and colleagues as required
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and technical developments

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full driving license (desirable)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to customer sites when required

The Osborne Technical and Engineering team are currently sourcing suitable candidates for an exciting opportunity for Transport Refrigeration Engineers to join our clients growing team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems in vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and vans. The successful candidate will be experienced in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration system issues and have a deep understanding of electrical and electronic components. They should have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team

Roles are available in CORK, ROSCOMMON, GALWAY and DUBLIN

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose refrigeration system problems
  • Repair and replace defective components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators
  • Charge refrigeration systems with the appropriate amount of refrigerant
  • Test and adjust system components to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to minimise breakdowns and extend system life
  • Install new refrigeration systems in vehicles
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components such as sensors, thermostats, and control systems
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Technical training or certification in refrigeration or related field
  • Proven experience as a transport refrigeration engineer
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and their components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
