Warehouse Operative – Reach & Counterbalance Forklift

Location: Dublin 15
Salary: €38,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well-established company based in Dublin 15. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional with strong Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ warehouse experience, valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences, and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, inspect and store incoming deliveries.
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Load and unload vehicles and containers.
  • Process warehouse transactions using SAP or a similar warehouse management system.
  • Arrange courier and haulier collections.
  • Carry out stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Report damaged or missing stock and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Complete Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and assist with general warehouse duties as required.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences with proven operating experience.
  • Manual Handling certificate (completed within the last three years).
  • Experience using SAP or a similar warehouse management system is highly desirable.
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to your own transport are essential, as the location is not accessible by public transport.
  • Must hold a valid permit to work in Ireland.
