Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team based in Cork City.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking to secure a long-term position.
Working as part of a busy warehouse and logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and organisation.

- €16 – €18 p/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming deliveries.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders in line with company procedures.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Move stock throughout the warehouse using manual handling techniques and forklift equipment where authorised.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and clearly labelled.
- Assist with stock takes, cycle counts and inventory management.
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or delivery issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Support goods-in, goods-out, dispatch and general warehouse operations.
- Complete warehouse documentation and system updates accurately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across warehouse, logistics and administration teams.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or general operative role.
- A valid Forklift Licence with practical operating experience (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent reliability, punctuality and work ethic.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer literacy or experience using warehouse stock systems.
- Full clean driving licence.
