Temporary General Operative – Naas with nationwide cover.

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary General Operative to join a busy company based in Naas, Co. Kildare.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving work at commercial client sites nationwide. The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly and should be comfortable carrying out hard manual work in a variety of environments.

For You:

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare, with nationwide cover
Rate: €15 per hour
Hours: 6:30am – 3:00/4:00pm
Overtime: Available and paid
Contract: Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting water treatment works
Cleaning water storage tanks and cooling towers
Setting up pressure washers and portable generators
Setting up and connecting hoses and pipework
Using wet vacs and other equipment
Carrying out general labouring and site duties
Working with hand tools and equipment
Following all health and safety procedures while working on client sites

Requirements:

Previous experience with pipework is highly desirable
A good understanding of plumbing or mechanical systems
Mechanically minded with a practical approach to problem-solving
Experience using hand tools
Comfortable carrying out heavy manual labour
Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding, hands-on environment
Manual Handling certificate required
Safe Pass required
Willingness to travel nationwide to client sites
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Full driving licence is required
