Senior HR Manager – Louth

Permanent | Full-Time

We are delighted to be supporting a leading public sector organisation in the appointment of a Senior HR Manager to support activity across the Louth Region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a senior, strategic role within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of people-focused initiatives, workforce planning, employee relations, organisational development and wider HR projects across the region.

The Role
The Senior HR Manager will provide both strategic and operational HR support to senior leadership teams, helping to ensure effective people practices are in place across the organisation. This role will suit someone who is confident advising at a senior level, managing change, and working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of HR strategies across the region
  • Providing guidance to senior stakeholders on a broad range of HR matters
  • Leading on workforce planning, employee engagement and organisational development initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment, retention and talent-related projects
  • Advising on employee relations, performance management and HR policy matters
  • Contributing to change management and service improvement initiatives
  • Building strong relationships across regional teams and external partners
  • Supporting HR reporting, governance and process improvement activity
  • Ensuring HR practices are aligned with organisational objectives and best practice

The Person

  • We are keen to speak with candidates who have strong senior-level HR experience, ideally gained within a large, complex or public sector environment.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience in a senior HR role
  • Strong knowledge across the full HR remit, including employee relations, recruitment, workforce planning and organisational development
  • Experience supporting change, transformation or service improvement projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong leadership, influencing and problem-solving ability
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • A relevant HR, business or related qualification would be advantageous
