Job Description

Senior HR Generalist (People and Culture)

Osborne are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious, entrepreneurial and fast-growing business to recruit a Senior HR Generalist.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, people-focused HR professional to join a business with real energy, ambition and a strong focus on culture. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, supporting managers and developing the people processes needed to support continued growth.

This is a hands-on, varied role within a busy office environment, supporting a multi-site business operating across hospitality and production. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, improve how HR operates and help build a workplace where people and the business can thrive.

With a clear pathway towards an HR Business Partner role, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, challenge the status quo and grow alongside an ambitious business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including contracts, policies, employee records, onboarding, offboarding and compliance.

  • Support payroll processes, employee leave, employment permits and right-to-work documentation.

  • Partner with managers to build their people management capabilities, providing practical advice on performance, probation, employee relations and difficult conversations.

  • Support disciplinary, grievance and other employee relations matters, promoting fair, constructive and solutions-focused outcomes.

  • Coordinate performance reviews, engagement surveys and employee feedback initiatives, turning insights into meaningful improvements.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology, automation and improved systems.

  • Conduct people audits across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation and workplace requirements.

  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture that encourages open communication, accountability and collaboration.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a broad HR Generalist, HR Advisor or People Partner role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations and employment legislation.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to advise and challenge managers when required.

  • A proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive improvements.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong emotional intelligence, discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive matters.

  • An interest in technology, automation and finding smarter ways to deliver HR services.

  • Experience in a multi-site, fast-moving business would be advantageous, as would exposure to employment matters across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland or wider UK.

An HR qualification would be beneficial, but practical experience, judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships are key.

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary of €55,000–€65,000.

  • Hybrid working opportunities.

  • The opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial and growing business.

  • A varied, hands-on role where you can make a real impact on people, culture and business performance.

  • A collaborative working environment with exposure to senior leadership.

  • A clear career development pathway towards an HR Business Partner position.
