Production Operative

At Osborne we are recruiting for a number of Production Operative roles to join a busy food production company based in Warrenpoint. 

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 5 days across 7.          
• Night Shift: 6pm – 6am. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday.

Pay and Holiday Entitlements:

• 28 days annual leave paid
• Day: £12.71 per hour
• Night: £13.73 per hour
• Temporary, with potential of securing a permanent job
• Full training provided

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery safely.
• Prepare, assemble and package food products.
• Follow production schedules and meet targets.
• Carry out quality checks and report any issues.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Complete basic production records.
• Work effectively as part of the production team.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the production area.

Key Requirements:

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• Own transport is essential.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and team-focused.
• Ability to follow procedures and complete training.

Desired Skills:

• Previous food manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP or food safety.
• Experience operating production machinery.
• Previous night-shift experience.
