Production Operative – Cavan

Osborne are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Cavan.

Successful candidates will complete an initial training period working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, before moving onto a rotating shift pattern of 6:00am – 2:30pm and 2:00pm – 10:30pm.

This is a permanent position, with immediate opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day manufacturing and production activities.
  • Assist with the smooth and efficient running of production processes.
  • Operate equipment and follow established procedures and production guidelines.
  • Complete production records and accurately input information into internal systems.
  • Scan and track products using barcode scanning equipment.
  • Carry out quality and accuracy checks as required.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
  • Complete manual handling duties as required, including some lifting.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets and maintain high standards.
  • Follow processes and instructions carefully, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Support other operational duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or similar hands-on environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role involving physical activity and manual handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Good computer skills and confidence using internal systems.
  • Comfortable using barcode scanning equipment and completing data entry.
  • Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn new processes.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to move onto a rotating shift pattern following the initial training period.
