Payroll & Finance Administrator
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: €40,000 – €45,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & Finance Administrator to join a busy Finance team in Dublin. Reporting to the CFO, this is a varied role with responsibility for payroll administration alongside supporting accounts, billing and general finance activities.
The successful candidate will have strong Irish payroll knowledge, excellent attention to detail and previous experience working within a finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation.
- Maintain payroll records and validate timesheets, leave and absence information.
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, journals and statutory deductions.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with Accounts Payable, including supplier invoices, reconciliations and payment runs.
- Support Accounts Receivable, billing and credit control activities.
- Assist with purchase orders, supplier records and procurement administration.
- Support month-end reconciliations, reporting and audit preparation.
- Maintain accurate finance records and provide general support to the Finance team.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ payroll administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, including PAYE, PRSI and USC.
- Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience with Sage Micropay, Sage 50 or similar systems is advantageous.
- Experience with purchase order or procurement processes would be beneficial.
