About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Oil Delivery Driver to join an established and busy team covering South Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, customer-focused driver who enjoys working independently, being out on the road and dealing with a variety of customers. Deliveries will include commercial and residential customers, construction sites and marine customers, offering plenty of variety throughout the working day.
We are keen to hear from experienced HGV drivers, as well as drivers who may need to renew their Driver CPC or obtain their ADR certification. Support will be available to help suitable candidates get the necessary qualifications in place.

Key Responsibilities
-
Deliver heating oil and fuel safely and efficiently to residential and commercial customers

Complete deliveries to construction sites and marine customers as required

Provide a professional and friendly service to customers at each delivery

Carry out vehicle safety checks and ensure all delivery equipment is maintained appropriately

Complete delivery paperwork and associated records accurately
-
Follow all health and safety procedures and safe handling requirements

Plan delivery routes efficiently and work to scheduled delivery times

Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers
What We’re Looking For
-
A valid Category C driving licence
-
Previous HGV driving experience is an advantage

A current Driver CPC and ADR certificate are desirable, but candidates whose qualifications have expired or who need to obtain them will also be considered

A strong focus on safety and attention to detail

Good communication and customer service skills

A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work

The ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule
