National Account Manager
At Osborne we are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager to join a Local Household Team with a portfolio of a market leading Brands based in Drogheda Co Louth.
This Business has a significant workforce across multiple functions including operations, commercial, finance and marketing with a team that aspires to the values of trust, Respect, Inspire, Innovate and achieving well being.
As the National Account Manager you will play a crucial role driving revenue by building and managing relationships with a company’s largest and most strategic clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager to help drive continued growth of some of Ireland’s Leading Household brands.
For You:
- Salary €60-75k
- 20 annual leave days + 2 company day’s
- €10,000 Car allowance
- Bonus up to 10% on profitability
- Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Act as the company’s contact for Household portfolio accounts and customer groups, building and maintaining strong commercial relationships.
- Handle finance queries for accounts under remit, working cross-functionally to resolve issues efficiently and maintain strong customer service standards.
- Manage stock forecasting for the full Household product range, ensuring availability and alignment with customer demand and promotional plans.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing sales performance, pricing strategies, trade investment, forecasting, and profit delivery.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of leading customer discussions on pricing, promotions, commercial agreements, and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
- Category & Portfolio Development: Oversee NPD launches, product listings, range reviews, and identify growth opportunities through market and competitor analysis
- proven experience leading customer negotiations on pricing, promotional activity, and trade investment agreements to deliver profitable growth and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Strong analytical and commercial insight skills, with experience conducting range reviews, competitor analysis, and interpreting market feedback to identify opportunities and support strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, Minimum 3 year ‘s experience with FMCG, retail, or consumer goods, managing strategic customer relationships and delivering profitable growth.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing sales performance, pricing strategies, trade investment, forecasting, and profit delivery.
- Experience in sales forecasting, stock management and promotional planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Proactive, organised, and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and deliver results in a fast-paced commercial environment.
