Machine Operators

At Osborne we are recruiting experienced Machine Operators for temporary opportunities across the quarry and construction sectors in Meath. If you have experience operating heavy plant and are committed to working safely, we’d like to hear from you.

About the Role

You will operate a range of heavy machinery to support daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with the site team to help meet production and project targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy plant including loading shovels, excavators, bulldozers, and other site machinery.
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns.
  • Load, move, and position materials safely and efficiently.
  • Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Work with supervisors and colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating heavy plant in quarrying, construction, or a similar environment.
  • Valid plant tickets/licences relevant to the machinery operated (e.g. loading shovel, excavator or bulldozer).
  • Safe Pass or equivalent site safety certification.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience operating a variety of plant machinery and basic maintenance knowledge is an advantage.
