We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established company for an Installation Manager to lead, supervise and direct window installation teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating fitting crews, managing workloads and ensuring installation projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced window professional looking to take the next step into a management and leadership position.
We are looking for someone with strong industry knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to lead teams, resolve on-site issues and maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, manage and direct window fitting crews across installation projects.
- Plan and coordinate daily fitting schedules, ensuring crews are appropriately allocated to each job.
- Ensure fitting teams have the correct materials, tools, drawings and job specifications before commencing work.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure projects are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Inspect completed work to ensure consistently high standards of quality, workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance, support and practical direction to fitting crews to resolve issues and maintain productivity.
- Ensure all fitting crews follow company procedures, technical specifications and health & safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with customers, fitting teams, suppliers and management to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Report on job progress, completion, materials and any issues or delays to senior management.
- Lead by example, promoting a professional, positive and safety-focused working environment.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in window fitting, with extensive knowledge of installation and finishing work.
- Strong understanding of installation standards, technical drawings and job specifications.
- The ability to coordinate multiple fitting teams and projects.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Confident in resolving on-site issues and providing clear direction to fitting crews.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures and responsibilities on site.
- Ability to motivate, develop and maintain high-performing fitting teams.
- Full, clean driving licence preferred.
