Job Title: HR Officer

Osborne are recruiting for an HR Officer on behalf of a leading FMCG client. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HR professional to join a busy, fast-paced environment on a fixed-term contract until the end of October.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day HR function, working closely with management and employees to ensure smooth HR operations across the business. This role is fully on site and would suit someone who is organised, approachable, and confident working in a hands-on HR environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the business.
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support absence management, performance management, and employee relations processes.
• Assist with preparing HR reports and maintaining HR systems.
• Coordinate training, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure HR processes are delivered in line with company policies and employment legislation.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and wider management team as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, or similar HR role.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or a fast-paced environment would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
• CIPD qualification or working towards same would be an advantage.
• Proactive, professional, and able to work effectively in a busy on-site environment.
