Osborne Recruitment is currently recruiting for an HR Onboarding Specialist on behalf of a leading organisation based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong people-first culture on a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees while supporting the wider HR function.
As the HR Onboarding Specialist, you will take ownership of the employee onboarding journey, ensuring every new starter has a seamless and engaging experience from offer acceptance through to induction.
Working closely with hiring managers and the HR team, you will coordinate onboarding activities, prepare employment contracts, maintain employee records, support recruitment administration, manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for all new employees.
Prepare and issue employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding requirements.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Support recruitment administration throughout the hiring process.
Manage and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Liaise with hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Coordinate employee inductions and orientation programmes.
Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
Ensure HR records remain compliant with company policies and employment legislation.
Provide general HR administrative support to the wider HR team.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in HR administration, onboarding, or recruitment coordination.
Experience managing or supporting employee onboarding.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HRIS platforms.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The company offers a flexible hybrid working model:
First 2 weeks: 5 days onsite for induction and training.
First 3 months: 4 days onsite each week.
Thereafter: 2 days onsite per week.
€45,000–€50,000 (depending on experience)
10% completion bonus upon successful completion of the contract
