General Operative – Drogheda

Pay Rate: €16.00 – €16.50 per hour

We are currently seeking reliable and flexible General Operatives to join our team in Drogheda.

This is a flexible role where working hours will vary depending on operational requirements and workload. Hours can fluctuate significantly from week to week, with the potential for busy periods followed by periods with little or no work available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general operative duties as required
• Loading, unloading and handling materials
• Assisting with the movement and storage of goods
• Operating a forklift as required
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Licence is essential
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or general operative role is an advantage
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and flexible in relation to working hours
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual tasks

Working Hours:

Working hours will depend on workload and operational demand and may vary considerably from week to week. Candidates must be comfortable with a highly flexible working pattern, which may include periods of substantial hours followed by periods where little or no work is available. For example, you may work approximately 60 hours during a busy week, followed by a week with no scheduled hours.

Pay: €16.00 – €16.50 per hour
