General Operative

We are currently recruiting for a number of General Operator to join a busy warehouse environment based in Athboy, Meath. 

For You:

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries and move stock within the warehouse/site.
• Pick, move and store goods in designated locations.
• Carry out daily safety checks on forklift equipment.
• Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate stock and movement records where required.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and site rules.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Report any equipment faults, damaged stock or safety concerns.
• Support general warehouse duties when required.

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence/certification.
• Previous forklift operating experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of warehouse and health & safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work accurately in a busy environment.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable with manual handling and general warehouse duties.
• Basic computer or stock system skills are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts where required.
