Executive Assistant to the CEO

We are seeking a highly organised, driven and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a growing and ambitious organisation. This is a key role for someone who is focused, commercially aware and takes pride in staying one step ahead, managing priorities and ensuring commitments are followed through.

Location: Clonmel, Co. Tipperary

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: €55,000 – €60,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO’s diary, priorities and competing demands proactively.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare and proofread high-quality reports, correspondence and presentations.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for the CEO, managing calls, emails and visitors.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes and follow up on actions to ensure completion.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders and senior contacts on behalf of the CEO.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion.
  • Proactively manage tasks, identify issues and use initiative to find solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a CEO, C-Suite or senior leadership.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and reporting.
  • Strong Word and PowerPoint*skills with the ability to produce polished, professional documents.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, diplomatic and confident when dealing with senior stakeholders.
  • Driven, focused and proactive, with the ability to work independently and anticipate what is needed.
  • Calm and resilient under pressure, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness and discretion.
