Administrator
Osborne is recruiting for an Electrical Estimating Coordinator/ Administrator to join a leading engineering and construction company based in Waterford. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated administrator to support the estimating team and coordinate the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission.
The successful candidate will work closely with Estimators and the Estimating Manager, ensuring tender documentation, deadlines, supplier quotations and commercial records are managed accurately and efficiently.

Hours: 39.5 hours per week; part-time may also be considered
Salary: DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming tender enquiries and invitations.
- Maintain tender registers, bid/no-bid logs and opportunity pipelines.
- Coordinate tender documentation, drawings, specifications and revisions.
- Complete and manage pre-qualification questionnaires and submissions.
- Monitor client and procurement portals, including eTenders.
- Maintain tender query, clarification and addenda registers.
- Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and follow up on quotations.
- Review supplier returns, highlighting exclusions, qualifications or omissions.
- Ensure tender records are accurately filed and commercially sensitive information is kept confidential.
- Support post-tender feedback, audits and continuous improvement of estimating processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience & Qualifications
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent, with strong numeracy and written English skills.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative, commercial or estimating support role.
- Experience within electrical contracting, building services, construction or a related industry is desirable.
- Previous experience coordinating tenders, bids or pre-qualification submissions is advantageous.
- Full driving licence desirable.

- Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional approach when dealing with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
