Osborne Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Officer – Programme Support to join a well-established public sector organisation in Dublin 2.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to take on a varied role supporting a senior director and wider team, with responsibilities across administration, meetings, finance and office coordination.
Location: Dublin 2 – Fully on-site
Contract: 20 months, September 2026 – May 2028, with potential extension
Salary: €32,000 – €36,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Annual Leave: 22 days per annum, pro rata
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and wider team
Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders and invoice processing
Prepare and format correspondence, reports and presentations
Organise meetings, room bookings, catering and visitor access
Manage travel and accommodation arrangements
Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems
Provide general office and facilities support
Previous experience in a busy administrative or office environment
Strong IT skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with purchase orders, invoices and budget tracking
Experience organising meetings or events
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting reports, research or information gathering
Leaving Certificate or equivalent
Previous experience within a public sector, technical or scientific environment would be an advantage.
