Accountant – Cork

€35,000 – €45,000 DOE

We are partnering with a well established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Cork to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-4 years’ accountancy practice experience who is looking for a stable, long term role with a supportive team and genuine opportunity to continue developing their career.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Managing VAT and PAYE requirements
• Working with ROS, CRO and CORE
• Liaising directly with clients and business owners
• Supporting client accounts and compliance requirements
• Attending occasional client meetings and site visits
• Working with Sage, Excel and other accounting systems

What we’re looking for:

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification is essential
• 2-4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong practical accounts preparation experience
• Experience with ROS, CRO, CORE and Sage
• Confident communicating directly with clients
• Professional, proactive and keen to develop within practice

What’s on offer:

• €35,000–€45,000 DOE
• Permanent, full-time position
• Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
• Early finish every Friday
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
