Building Services Engineer

Osborne is delighted to partner with a leading construction and engineering company in the recruitment of a Building Services Engineer for an exciting project based in County Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a well-established organisation delivering high-quality commercial and residential developments.

Location: Kildare
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: DOE

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical building services on site.

  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and design consultants to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.

  • Review drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving any technical issues.

  • Monitor quality standards and ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements.

  • Assist with commissioning activities, testing, and project handover.

  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Building Services Engineer or similar role.

  • Degree or qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of M&E systems and construction processes.

  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.

  • Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
