Role Overview
Reports To: Commercial Manager
We are currently seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Executive to support the continued growth of our Facilities Management division across Ireland.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience selling service-based solutions within the Facilities Management, Security, or Cleaning sectors and will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing a robust sales pipeline.
The position is nationwide in scope, with the majority of activity focused within the Leinster region.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the Facilities Management, Security, and Cleaning sectors
Generate high-quality leads through networking, research, referrals, and outbound sales activity
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients aligned with commercial growth targets
Develop relationships with key decision-makers across commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, and property sectors
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits
Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and tender submissions
Work closely with the Commercial Manager and operational teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline progression within the CRM system
Produce regular reports on pipeline performance, sales activity, and revenue generation
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, procurement frameworks, and industry developments
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Business Development or Field Sales role. Must have a hunter mentality.
Proven experience selling services within Facilities Management, Security, Cleaning, or related service industries
Strong understanding of FM operating models including TFM, IFM, and bundled service solutions
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage the sales cycle
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly motivated, organised, and target-driven
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Full clean driving licence
Flexibility to travel nationwide as required
Desirable Experience
Experience in B2B solution selling
Knowledge of tendering processes and FM procurement cycles
Existing network within the Irish FM, Security, or Property sectors
