Sales Account Manager

At Osborne we are partnering with a leading independent bio medical research & technology company. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Account Manager with a strong sales background to manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities. The role combines account development, client acquisition, market intelligence, and pipeline management, requiring a proactive individual who can build trusted relationships and drive revenue growth.

The successful candidate will be confident engaging with both warm leads and new clients, possess strong commercial awareness, and demonstrate the ability to translate market insights into business opportunities. This role will suit a Self-motivated and results driven individual who is proactive and commercially minded. A background in scientific, sustainability or environmental services will be distinct advantage.

Salary: €60K – €70K DOE
Location: Dublin
Job Type: Permanent Full-time (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients to maximise account growth and retention.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities with new clients and target markets.

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement account plans to drive revenue growth.

  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and commercial discussions to clients.

  • Generate and convert sales opportunities from both warm leads and proactive outreach activity.

  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to identify commercial opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.

  • Manage sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting processes.

  • Track performance against agreed KPIs and business objectives.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, account management, or key account management.

  • Strong sales background with a proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.

  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.

  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
