Sous Chef
We are seeking experienced and adaptable Sous Chefs to join our temporary staffing pool in Waterford. These roles are ideal for professionals who enjoy leading teams and working in fast-paced kitchen environments.
Location: Waterford, County Waterford
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (Flexible Shifts)
Salary: Competitive hourly rates (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Supervise and guide kitchen staff during service
Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
Step in to lead the kitchen when required
Maintain HACCP and food safety standards
Assist with stock control and ordering
Train and support junior team members
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
Proven Sous Chef experience or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
Relevant culinary qualifications preferred
Strong knowledge of HACCP
Skills & Attributes
Leadership and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Flexible and reliable
Passion for food and team development
