Duties / Responsibilities:
IT Operations & Infrastructure
Provide Level 2 to Level 3 IT support to internal staff memebers.
Manage day-to-day IT operations including servers, networks, and endpoints
Oversee backups, patching, updates, and preventative maintenance
Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, security controls)
Support core business systems, liaising with vendors where required
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of services
Maintain IT asset registers, licensing, and hardware lifecycle
Technical Support & Service Delivery
Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve escalated technical issues
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across multiple sites
Manage user onboarding/offboarding and access control
Contribute to service improvements and IT strategy initiatives
Security & Technology Controls
Implement security best practices (MFA, least privilege, endpoint protection)
Monitor security tools including firewalls, email security, and endpoint systems
Support incident response and coordinate with third-party providers
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Lead and contribute to IT projects (cloud migrations, upgrades, infrastructure enhancements)
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Support audits, access reviews, and policy updates
Assist in ensuring IT systems align with regulatory requirements
Contribute to compliance activities without owning GRC frameworks
Key Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and support
Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory
Experience supporting users in a professional or regulated environment
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliable IT services
Desired Skills:
Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure/M365)
Experience within financial services or other regulated environments
Exposure to cloud platforms and modern endpoint management tools
