Head of Sales & Marketing
We are currently recruiting a Head of Sales and Marketing on behalf of our telecommunications client based in Dublin. This role will be responsible for driving business growth across both direct and indirect channels and will report to the Managing Director.
The successful candidate will be based in the Dublin office in a senior leadership capacity (non-board level) and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A proven track record in building and leading high-performing sales and marketing teams is essential, along with hands-on experience in managing high-value sales opportunities and tender submissions.
This position operates on a hybrid model, with three days based in the office and two days spent on the road.
Responsibilities:
Be the lead in Enterprise and high value sales proposals.
Network within the business community, building strong relationships.
Own and execute on tender responses for the business
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company strategy and growth objectives.
Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance direct sales team, setting clear targets and KPI’s and monitor performances to achieve and exceed targets.
Design and execute strategies for growing and maximising the indirect sales channels, including partnerships and alliances.
Establish relationships with potential and existing key partners, manage partner performance in line with business growth objectives.
Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with sales and strategic objectives.
Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, market penetration, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Report on performance metrics to the company board, adjusting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
Ensure exceptional customer experience through effective sales techniques and personalized marketing strategies.
Gather customer feedback to enhance the product offerings and service delivery.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and marketing, specifically within the Irish telephony and data connectivity sector.
Demonstrated success in building, managing, and motivating high-performing direct sales teams.
Strong expertise in developing and managing indirect sales channels.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Must have own vehicle.
Salary €110,000++ DOE + Bonus
